Sorry for this ramble...
I'm a sucker for dark red. And I generally don't like red vehicles. I fell in love with Rapid Red... On the Bronco. I had a 2021 Bronco base with the manual on order in Rapid Red. But then that got rolled over to a 2022 order and Rapid Red wasn't available. I panicked...
I've had that happen a couple of times on my '23 XLT. The screen became pixelated and the music I was streaming became distorted. I did a soft reset (Pwr and FF button like what @matmondro suggested) and it seemed to fix the issue.
I dunno, I think I'd rather get a CEL and have some modicum of an idea of what it could be rather than have weird stuff happen (dash was dead, transmission stuck in park, random weirdness with the ACM; all fixed by a restart) or strange noises/vibrations randomly popup then disappear.
@daddio211 I think your stance is perfect!
I'll be going the Silver's coilover route and putting 20" Mach-e GT wheels on soon. Unless I missed it, did you install longer swaybar end links? Any other words of wisdom on the coilovers?
TIA!
Two things stand out to me about that tonneau cover:
1) It's made from FRP; Fiberglass reinforced plastic. That could either be a good or bad thing based on how thick it it. It won't dent like the usual aluminum foam panels (mine dented from hail stones). But it might break from an impact. It...
Yes, the rear seat cushion latching in the up position is especially helpful for us hybrid guys as it makes it one less thing to hold while we swap out the 12v battery from its undersized, sharp edged hole.
That's exactly what it is:

And it's $5,599 for some wheels, AFE exhaust and Eibach lowering springs.
I had a Bedrug in my previous truck, a 2015 Ram 1500 shortbed. That coupled with a hard tonneau cover made it like a huge covered trunk.
I have the Ford drop in bedliner but I am seriously considering pulling that out and installing a Bedrug. Bedrugs are awesome.
I also have a LOMAX. I like it a lot. I just get a couple of drops by the tail gate in heavy rain. I was going to go with the Rough Country tonneau but they were discontinued for a bit. @Mitch Panda Motorworks hooked me up with the LOMAX for a great price instead.
Edited to add: The LOMAX has...
That sucks :frown:
My 2023 hybrid was damaged by a nasty hail storm in May 2024. It did over $10k in damage. Most of it was fixed with PDR but the shop had to replace some trim pieces and tail light as well. My insurance company, whom I was with for 22 years, took over 3 months to send out...
Dangit, you took my joke haha
I hope one of the aftermarket companies makes a bigger card slot so I can keep all of my recall notices there.
Are you listening Mabett? This is an untapped market!
