I guess you don't understand how it works... I don't care what they said. I understand how an eCVT works. It gets the engine to peak rpm and holds it there.

It's not the eCVT it's the engine making the noise since it's running at a higher rpm. Listen to almost any vehicle making that run they do and it's screaming. It's a tough climb.

That tow test was an extreme test. 11,000 feet elevation (down 33% on power), extreme cold, winter gas, up 7% grade and over the max tow limit. It did it and was passing the big rigs. 99% of people would not see those conditions.

Even with the price increases it's still one of the most inexpensive vehicles and then you toss in the utility off it and nothing else is even close.
