That was the Bronco Sport Badlands. It has a different AWD system. It's a twin clutch rear drive unit with advanced 4x4 Trail Control. Basically the same as the Tremor. All the other versions of the Bronco Sport have the same AWD as the non Tremor Mavericks.

Interesting you say it feels like it has more power. I wonder if they tuned it different to have more torque off the line or maybe it's a different drive ratio with the new transmission. Though not sure how the drive ratio works with an eCVT.

I would love for the next gen Mav to grow by about 6 inches. That would get us a 5 foot bed and still almost be a half a foot shorter than the Ranger!
