OK, but there is no remote locking "option" on a Lariat. Can you show what you were looking at? HRG

The remote lock (with doors) is standard on your Lariat. I think you may be confusing with the optional "hinge" lock that prevents the tailgate from being removed once open. HRG

@Lowrider Can't help with the mpg, but if buying new, consider the 14" tire & wheel option. Much better choices for replacement trailer tires. HRG

Honestly, I wish I still had the ability to get under my truck and do this kind of maintenance. If I had access to a lift, sure. Breaks my heart to see chests of tools accumulated over the years not get used. HRG

Not sure how long you hang on to vehicles, but in MA I would think that AWD would be handy, or worth more down the road. Also, you can now get the power sliding rear window if that interests you. HRG

What quantities are you buying? My local guy will let me source the fluids, looks like the PTU is good with 1 qt, the RDU may need a little more than a quart (so a 2nd one), and a drain & re-fill on the trans looks like just over 5qts. HRG

2024 Lariat Tremor (2.0EB/8-speed), 40K miles. Just got a quote from my dealer to replace the fluids in all 3. Trans flush & fill $382 RDU $246 PTU $187 plus tax. HRG

I'm curious, who is doing the conversion? A Ford dealer, or an aftermarket hitch garage? HRG
