Did you use two or three wires for the mirror harness? The compass/auto dim (green light) should go out with the map lights because it's wired to ACC power and the homelink should be wired to constant power so you can work the garage door.
It's just not a Utah thing. Add AWD/4WD capability to a vehicle and people will tend to drive faster forgetting that shopping is still going to be an issue.
My wife never took our Camry down a logging road so it's something the Maverick will ever do. We live in a rural part of Canada with a ton of snow every winter and never had an issue with a FWD with a good set of snow tires. I would not consider a Maverick ecoboost AWD as a good choice for...
Before I bought my 2024 hybrid I took the ecoboost out for an extended test drive. When I came back it was the hybrid for us. The hybrid was just a quieter and smoother powertrain and the amazing mpg sealed the deal. Yes the ecoboost is slightly quicker and has AWD but I purchased a good set...
You said it yourself, your frugal. The '25 hybrid AWD would bring a premium price and we don't even know if it will be offered. Find yourself a '24 hybrid. I put the word out to a few dealers and I had a '24 hybrid in less than a week. You really have to ask yourself if AWD is even needed...
Of course, there will still be a market for the ecoboost for those that need AWD and are not as concerned about mpg. In Canada the ecoboost is a better seller than the hybrid because of our weather.
Most current owners will hate a new refresh or model change. You have to justify your purchase. I just bought a 2024 hybrid and the new '25 subtle design change wouldn't make me consider it over my '24. The Maverick is my wife's vehicle and I showed her the new '25 and she couldn't really see...
Ford had a 82% jump on sales of the Maverick compared to last year. In the United States more hybrids were sold than ecoboost. A refresh isn't going to kill Maverick sales. Not sure if an AWD hybrid will happen. It would take a significant money investment and why would Ford do that if there...
I realize the dealership is not a Ford company and dealerships are independent businesses. When I was shopping and caled multiple dealerships for a price for the same model I was told by a number of the dealerships that the margins were very low and their cost was only $500 less than the MSRP...
The $500 I was referring to was dealership profit. When I was shopping for my best deal I heard the number from a few of the salesman and a dealer principle. I have no idea what Ford is actually making on the Maverick.
