I messaged Ford thru this web sites "conversation" tool with nearly the same question a few days ago and was hopeful when rep "Michael" said he would try to help. He needed all my info (VIN, address, phone #, etc) and his final response was basically: stay in touch with your dealer..."They will...
Hope so ....the last rep I talked to the other day said that in her experience, it could take about 60 days so I've been "stuck" in production now for 50 so maybe 10 more days in production "limbo" 🤣❓🤣 Who knows?
It's my understanding that if you have a VIN, you're getting a MY22 but who really knows? If all the parts are available when you hit the production line, looks like a truck can be built in as little as 20 hours. If they are missing a part & your truck gets put in a lot, all bets are off as to...
The picture "screenshot" says it all...47 days "in production" & not built but parked in a lot waiting for some mystery part. No updated information on our XL Hybrid with just a tow hitch. Gee, sure glad we dropped Co-Pilot 360 back in February so we wouldn't have any "constraints" 🤣😂🤣😂.
Our bare bones XL Hybrid with just a tow hitch has been sitting in a lot in Mexico since being produced (not completely built) since 8/9. The weather there has been consistently over 100 degrees....Gee, starting to wonder what the long term negative effects of that might be....😢
Unfortunately, there are a bunch of us that are in limbo or "stuck" in production since that same build week of 8/8. Most likely our trucks are sitting in a lot waiting for some mystery part to be installed that was not available during our build week of 8/8. Dealer's visibility report shows...
Congrats!! You are so right... As frustrated as we are with the "stuck" in production situation, we really feel sorry for the unscheduled MY22 Mavericks that are being thrown in with the new MY23 orders. What a mess.
Totally agree about the lack of communication: there must be some Ford tracking database somewhere (maybe at the plant) that has our VIN numbers & a description of where it is parked and what it needs in order to finish the build. Not providing that information to at least the dealer, (who can...
A few from the early August build weeks did see their trucks move from being"produced" to the "build" status last week so there is hope for the rest of us who are still "stuck".
Here is a link to that thread...
We didn't get that email, at least we didn't get it yet, but there are a bunch of us from July and early August build weeks that are still "stuck" in production and have not moved to the "built" status. (There is actually a thread on this forum about it). Our guess is that during those build...
Wow, that's crazy & has to be so frustrating. We are "stuck" in production with our XL Hybrid with just a tow hitch since week of 8/8. I guess we shouldn't complain since you've been in the "in production" status longer but our frustration is turning into a "we don't care anymore" attitude & we...
You are "golden" 👍 and should get yours relatively soon. We are not even "built" yet and still in production. I'm hoping we get ours by November but who knows??
38 days "stuck" in production for us too 😢. Not to be negative but I really don't think it will just show up at the dealer and I think our trucks are sitting in a lot in Mexico waiting for someone to add whatever part they were short of when it went through the production line earlier in August...
Mach 1,
Thank you so much for your assessment of the current issues. That really helps us with our decision and we will probably follow through with the purchase knowing that there may be a bumpy road ahead until Ford sorts everything out. 👍
Mach 1,
We have been following your posts regarding the hybrid "dead battery" issue & as "auto ignoramus folks"; we so appreciate your knowledge & input on this forum.
When you say, "it's going to be a very big deal", do you feel that the hybrid shudder issue is an issue inherent in all these...
