Hoping that Ford's ETA is way off too. π. Happy to see that CSX tracking indicates our truck will arrive at the final stop tomorrow, November 3rd, at 2am..... yippee! Sad to receive Ford email last night with updated ETA to dealership from 11/30-12/6 π². What? Estimated 3 weeks to be picked up...
Keep those positive vibes coming ππ . Our truck's delivery ETA to Columbia has changed now from 11/3 to 11/5. We have to leave the area 11/10 but in the whole scheme of things, we feel very blessed to even be getting a Maverick this year so what will be, will be. Right now we are admiring the...
We are hoping that our truck gets delivered to our upstate SC dealership before 10/11 when we have to head south for a family commitment. We were disappointed to see that our CSX delivery estimate to Dixiana changed, like yours, from 10/3 to 10/4 & now 10/5. π’ Hoping the 10/5 estimate "sticks" π.
Our railcar has been in Avon Indiana for the last 2 days and our estimated arrival at Dixiana South Carolina is 11/3 per CSX. Trying to remain positive but that doesn't leave much time for it to be hauled from there to the dealership before we head south.
So our railcar is no longer in a "hold" status & has been released to CSX from the switching company (ALS railroad) but still in E St. Louis. Hoping it starts moving again & also hoping you get the long awaited phone call from your dealership. π
Wow! 41 cars !!! π²π²
That is a good way to look at it and perhaps we need a lesson in patience as well. ππ Based on all those delays, I seriously doubt we will get ours before we have to head south to FL on November 10th for a family commitment.
So I just called the automated CSX phone line and our railcar is now in a "Hold" status in East St Louis. Any status with the word "hold" can't be a good thing π
We, ourselves, won't be around since we are snowbirds/full time RVers who will be heading south as soon as our Maverick arrives in the upstate. Great idea though π
Thank you ππ. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of when we first ordered. Originally ordered an XL Hybrid with a tow hitch & co-pilot 360 but dropped the co-pilot 360 back in February. It's been quite the rollercoaster ride...sat in a lot in Mexico waiting for some mystery part from 8/9...
So no call from your dealer yet? Our truck just arrived at the gateway railroad yard in Illinois, just outside of St Louis. If our train follows the same time frame as yours did, we should (maybe π) arrive in Columbia by the 27th. Hopefully, yours will show up at the dealership in the next day...
So it looks like most of us "early August stuck in production" folks have received their Mavericks or their Mavericks are now in transit. (I've been tracking mine like a crazy person with the CSX automated tracking & ours just left Bloom Kansas).
Anyhow, it's been so helpful to "hang out" with...
Before we sold everything & hit the road, we had a 2007 Ford F150 & a 1992 Toyota Pickup with the 22RE engine. We don't miss the F150 but do miss the Toyota & thinking we will like the Maverick as much or more than the Toyota.
If you haven't been to Lake Jocassee in Salem SC, in the upstate...
Wow, you are truly ready for your truck... We haven't purchased anything yet because we really just can't believe we are getting it but maybe now it's finally sinking in that this might really happen. Good tip about the lug nuts as we had no idea.
We are older folks and so our biggest...
Seems like waiting for a car hauler in Columbia might take awhile... we have been watching your posts to see if your truck has been delivered to the dealer. π
We have an ETA of delivery to Anderson Ford between 10/27-11/2. According to CSX, our railcar just left Goodwell Oklahoma.
We wouldn't...
Any updates? Are you moving again? "My" railcar departed from Carrizozo NM according to CSX tracking. I wonder where yours "set out". We are all getting an education in "railroad" terminology LOL.
