Got my sub today, but I screwed up 🤦♂️
Ripped open the box out of excitement, thought to myself, wow, that's massive for an 8". Took it out to the Maverick, fought with it for a few minutes before realizing it was not going to fit under the seat. I pulled up the dimensions on my phone and...
Started in on my audio upgrades yesterday by running all of the wiring for my amp. Front speakers arrived today, subwoofer should be here tomorrow. I think that combo will be adequate for now (y)

This was really the only angle that looked okay. I'm going to return this one. I had a couple of other chin spoilers that I thought may work, shape-wise but I think I might just hold off until something Maverick specific comes along.
It's tricky because the Maverick bumper looks like a...
It's still a work in progress as I couldn't source any clamps locally that I really liked, but I've ordered a few replacement clamps/latches for a similar style of cover that I think I can adapt to mine. For the short term I just have a bungee strap at each corner.
For the hinging, I thought...
Making the hood vent pics & info. a separate post so I can update the OP to be a current gallery and link to various mods:
I spent significantly more time placing my template than actually cutting.
Measure a thousand times, cut once 😅
Cut was perfect, the vent snaps in just like...

I was planning on getting some pics all around and starting a build thread once I got the exterior finished up, but the admin beat me to it by making this thread lol.
I'll get some updated pictures this week and measure again to see if the drop has changed any from settling.
Yeah, spring was the latest ETA when I inquired about it on IG.
For those unfamiliar, ISC made the coilovers for Tucci Hot Rod's Maverick that was at SEMA.
ISC Suspension should have adjustable coilovers available this Spring, I was just impatient and went with the H&R Escape springs for the time being. I'm definitely happy with them for now but adjustable coil overs are at the top of my list once they're available.
@JJC's build just got elevated to another level of customization with his custom hood scoop / vent install!
Still need to fit the water tray, waiting on my dremel to recharge
The hood vent / scoop is a Camaro SS OEM part:
H&R lowering springs (for the Ford Escape)...

It's been about a month since I purchased my Maverick and I just received my SECOND follow-up call from the wonderful staff at Granger checking in to make sure that everything is going well and I'm enjoying my new Maverick. By far the best customer service I've ever received from a car...
