Ordered my 25 Lariat the day the order books opened mid-August 2024 and took delivery on January 28th. It was painful but well worth the wait. No regrets. You're going to love your truck.
When I picked up mine, at least 30 minute demo from my salesman on how everything worked. My previous new car purchase before the Maverick, I received the same sort of demo upon delivery from the Kia dealership I purchased from. What can I say? Sounds like crappy customer service to me.
I don't get why so many take delivery of new vehicles and either get crappy orientation walk throughs from their dealer or don't listen when they are being shown how all the gadgets work. I'm not trying to sound like a perk but it boggles my mind.
I just bought Michelin CrossClimate 2's for my 25 Lariat, and I live in Vancouver BC which doesn't get anywhere near the snow you get in Vermont. I'm originally from Montreal so I recommend you buy the CC2's.
My 25 Lariat Hybrid AWD 4k tow with BAP rides great on my 19's. I just bought Michelin CrossClimate all weather tires and the handling is great. The stock Goodyear Wrangler ht were decent but the new tires rock.
I guess the $20k crowd will never let it go. I'm surprised we still don't hold today's Ford in 2025 to the promise Henry made when he started building the Model T. Why isn't Ford still building a $575 vehicle? Damn them!
Tim, your points are all valid, but allow me to put my imaginary Ford Executive hat on and reply. In this forum and many others, all we hear and read is that the Maverick is no longer a $20k vehicle or $25k vehicle and on and on. Then add the monster in the room, meaning tariffs as it is built...
