I share your enthusiasm and I like what you've done to the "place"! Thanks for sharing your upgrades. I've added 31 items to my Lariat Maverick since 2022 . . . too many to list here. Point being the Maverick begs the personal touch to make it uniquely yours.
Love the color! Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the club. You'll love your Maverick to the point that you will invent reasons to drive it. Mark my words.
Isn't it though? Seems to me one only needs to be around a truck for all of 15 secons to figure out that trucks haul things and I bet this this is something to attach a tie down.
Adding my two cents on the tailgate dampener . . . absolutely worth the $20 or so and easily found on Amazon. Having the remodeled tie down on the tailgate is almost mandatory. You might not think you have a need for it, but if you only have to use it once, it's worth it.
Excellent and comprehensive review. Your observations are probably on target with the majority of hybrid owners. I also have the 2022 initial Maverick and despite it being the debut truck, I've found it to be extremely reliable and have less first year issues than what one might expect. Thanks...
Your interpretation seems to be accurate. If the system was supposed to stop the truck before impact, in my situation it would have stopped the truck before I had to swerve. As it happened, I did not feel any attempt by the vehicle to brake, but perhaps I swerved before it could respond. Not...
Nothing wrong with being prepared and it's not like it's never happened. I had my Colorado catch fire just sitting in my driveway. (battery). Happened around 4 am, so I had no chance of putting it out. One of the first accessories I added to the Maverick was fire extinguisher...
No it did not. I'm thinking because I swerved very quickly after hearing the alarm. Truth be told, I'm not sure if it did brake that it would have stopped me in time. Problem is it's not something you want to test out. I'd be interested in seeing a car crash test with dummies to verify its...
