I always use the parking brake no matter the location. Just an extra level of safety. No issues except I have no indication if it engages automatically if the truck is on an incline. Brake light on dash does not illuminate.

My sentiments exactly. Love the Lariat version of the hybrid. I was lucky to get any Maverick back in 2022, but getting the Lariat was a big win. Heated seats, ACC, heated steering wheel, B&O sound, sunroof, heated mirrors, better tires, spray in bed liner, power rear window, etc . . . at my age...
