I agree with you. The knob controls give you sensory feedback that you don't get with the screen controls. I find that to be an advantage.

That's pretty much the consensus of most of the members. It's as though the engineers/designers didn't check the stock and so manufacturing slapped in whatever they had in order to get these trucks out the factory door.

Thanks for the info. That would be a long run and a bit awkward getting past the bed and up into the well that houses that light system. Let's say I splice into the brake/turn signal lamp wire. Would that not give me same type lighting to the hitch light?

I'd say to slowly re-introduce your connectivity features and see what happens. Since I replaced the stock battery with an AGM I've had no issues with battery drain, although a few members still did.
