While I do like the Maverick's design better, the only reason I didn't shop the Hyundai too was lack of a hybrid option. That's the only reason I considered the Maverick to begin with (well, and I thought bringing back the name was cool....)
It's alright I guess but I like my '24 style better. I would consider upgrading if they offer a Platinum-level plug-in with ventilated seats. But then you're probably talking about a $45-50k 'truck'.
I guess I'm a mindless adapter. It's been a minor adjustment to my automotron movements when I get in my car and press the start button. But when I bought my Outback in '13 I was expecting to spend endless hours pacing back and forth about the CVT "drone" that people harped about and it took me...
I got the full-zoot Lariat hybrid; cost right around $36k with all the trimmings (tonneau cover, sunroof, etc). In today's market I consider it a great value, especially considering I'm saving +/- $150 a month in gas. Of course an XL or XLT are even better values if you don't want/care for all...
Never knew that. There's a guy that parks at the lake where I do my Saturday biking who has the Lobo name on his truck. Just thought it was an aftermarket thing. But I'm in Texas so a 'Lobo' could certainly made it's way here....
Ordered 9/16/22, received 1/19/24, just started driving regularly two weeks ago as I waited to relocate the car it replaced. Roughly 1500 miles so far. Very impressed with the build quality and mileage. My daily commute (16.3 miles each way, combination of heavy and light traffic) is yielding...
I wish our local distributor had installer recommendations. I watched the video 3 times…for those of us who are “all thumbs” it might be a ‘bridge too far’.
We had a keypad on my ex's Edge and in 10 years never used it, so I didn't see it's disappearance as a loss. The climate readout on the knobs is annoying, but again I keep the temp on 72 and rarely change it for months. Ford might be looking for "premium" features to perhaps add to a future...
You should try Marketplace. Good god what a cesspool of scammers. I posted some leftover toner from a defunct printer, and what crawled out from behind the woodwork was astounding but sad. There are truly times I wish websites were held accountable for what they allow to be posted.
I can see a demand for these once the charging infrastructure and reasonably-priced replacement parts are more readily available. Let's say I owned a small business with 3-4 local delivery trucks. A Maverick EV priced $30-35k (today's money) makes perfect sense if we can charge at the shop...
Wow, nice deal! Congrats and good luck! I was at my dealer last weekend getting my windows tinted and sat in a showroom Lightening. Very beautiful vehicle. Way too big for me and my needs (to be honest, I’m having a bit of a time adjusting to the size difference between my Outback and the Maverick).
I'm gonna have to agree with the OP. I can't seem to get comfortable in my '24 Lariat; adjusting the front of the bottom cushion to tilt up would make all the difference in the world.
