My 2025 Lariat AWD is a pleasure to turn compared to my 2012 Nissan Frontier. That truck was a pain and my Maverick is miles ahead of that Nissan.

I actually ditched the jack handle and jack since I replaced both but kept the rod that lowers the spare.. in all fairness it only looked mildly tweaked when not in use after twice attempting to use it. It was while torqing on lug nuts the degree of twist got scary. Look, if anyone is happy...
Not only did the factory tool not work on the lug nuts from the factory install, when I got the truck back from the dealer with the new tire on it wouldn't budge the lugs again!!! A 4 way at home had no issues. I assure you, after a lifetime(69yesrs) of wrenching on cars I know how to remove...
So at 6100 miles I ran over a nail and I got out, removed the jack assembly and attempted to loosen the lug nuts. As I neared the critical force necessary to break them free the handle started to bend and distort. I lowered the spare and called AAA to come remove my wheel. The AAA guy quickly...
I purchased this one shortly after picking up my truck. It has been easy to use, water tight with never a drop in the bed, and fits nice.

I drove 3858 miles from the San Francisco area to Central Texas and round trip averaged 39.9mpg. Would have gotten over 40mpg but has a long stretch of headwinds in New Mexico that I only averaged 32mpg. If I can beat the EPA rating on the highway I am a happy camper.
One thing I must point...
I picked up my ordered 2025 lariat AWD Maverick in February. I now have over 6,000 miles of trouble free driving. Had one recall. (airbag bulb holder) It was promptly fixed under warranty. Had a tire just replaced on my dime with a puncture to near the sidewall to repair. Can't fault Ford...
All I received was a piece of paper that lists the parts included along with a link to a video that refused to open. The pieces were rather easy to put together with some common sense and a tape measure. I used the video in this thread to help. I am pleased and find the rack a great value...
Got the rack installed this morning. It all installed fine . All bolts must be loose to get everything to fit well. Instructions could be better. The video in the link on the contents page would not open. Important thing is getting the measurements equal side to side and front to back. No...
Just to clarify, the part circled in red is the proper piece to use as the upper bracket. In the photo he provided it is slightly askew and not straight up and down as required. Is this the reason for the break? I think not as that angle should not affect the strength of the weld regardless...
Mine broake in exactly the same place 3 months after purchase. I bought mine on Amazon from a company called Klutchtech. After several emails and a bad review from me they finally sent me a new complete kit with all the pieces. Took 2 months but I got it and they did make it right.
I now...
I see no photo on the OP's message. I had my recall done on my 2025 Lariat AWD 2 days ago and it appears perfect. I always worry they goof up the dash reinstall but mine was exactly as I left it. I waited for my install and it ended up taking almost 2 hours but there were 4 cars in front of...
