Explain to me anywhere that I dragged the OP through the mud....I'll wait....in fact, I did say that the mod he did is also something I could do as well and pointed out that I would have done a few things differently. I was never rude to him or trashed his modification but also noted that there...
Small tray adjustment? You bent over both side tabs to make room for a physically larger battery. Maybe that is "Ok" for you, but for the majority of owners, they don't necessarily want that level of modification to their vehicle. Sure, to you and I, it may well be an easy mod to do with a pair...
Ford Maverick does not take a 24F battery...the 1970's version of the Maverick coupe and sedan do, but not the current C2 based model. As your own video and pictures show, there is modification required of the battery tray to fit the H5 size.
According to Ford - the 2025 Maverick Hybrid 12V...
Just looking at specs and measurements - I was wondering why you didn't go with an H3 Group Size - there is one that is spec'ed for Mustang Mach E and by the looks of it, it would not need any modifications to the battery tray and the Ohmmu H3 is still higher in CCA and CA as the stock flooded...
Unless the manufacturer of the Sodium battery is willing to put that in their warranty to protect against lawsuits, I would tread with caution on the addition of a Sodium battery as a solution to the issues associated with an enclosed installation. Not doubting your word, mind you...just want a...
AGM is "less susceptible" to gas release but it is still recommended to "vent" them if they are in an enclosed space. Google AI also gives the venting suggestion to Sodium batteries as they are also less susceptible to gas release but the AI bot suggests that if it is enclosed, it should also...
The mobile service tech arrived promptly - I had positioned the Maverick in the driveway for them to easily get to it. He pops the hood, hooks a set of cables to the jump points under the hood (standard procedure for mobile computer updates he says) then gets out a laptop and plugs it into the...
My first job was at a local Mobil gas station as a pump jockey and nightly garage bay cleanup guy. Began in 1979....Maps were (if I remember correctly) $0.25 cents by then since if you offered free maps, people would just come into the office and clean you out....I remember re-stocking the map...
In the early 70's, the story goes that the late Ritchie Evans of NASCAR open wheel modified (Northeast division) was repainting his race car and a "shop friend" that hung out at his garage also was employed for the Rome NY Dept of Public Works and somehow, a gallon or two of the Orange Paint...
No.....Light Duty is class 1-3, Medium Duty truck line is the Class 4-6 trucks that fell below Class 7-8 known as Heavy truck. For Ford, F750 is typically put into Medium but technically, straddles the fence between medium and heavy...some blogs will call it a "Baby 8"
We have a local 4 bay touchless "laser wash" place (pull in, stop, machine goes around car while you are in park) up the street from us that has been there for many years....about 4-5 years ago, a Hoffman's "tunnel type" wash opened about a block up from them...then a Tidal Wave "tunnel type"...
