From your profile, I can't tell what year Maverick you have.
My 2023 hybrid XLT does Not automatically turn on the AC when I start the truck, if I turned it Off using this button.
It's happened before same circumstance.
Here is a thread on the lines disappearance but not much of a a fix. The op stated that lines returned on their own.
Good luck.

"Looks Like" Toyota **made a Santa Cruz. 🤷♂️
Looks like Toyota is keeping their Stormtrooper look.
** I understand it is a rendering and hasn't been made.
I loved the Datsun 240z Poor Man's Ferrari Daytona, it's a shame how cars of that era rusted out.
I had trim rings on my 1970 Challenger. I had to order a replacement one from Dodge. There was no other choice. Maybe Warshawski but I doubt it.😁
If you have any passengers whatsoever in the truck and you're using ( pulse & Glide) style of driving. It is easier on the passengers I.E less cause for car sickness, by using slippery mode, then any of the other driving modes, by "stretching out" the the herky-jerkiness of the regen.
🤔
I guess folks have to decide for themselves.
Which is more important.
Walking away from a major accident OR having a vehicle that can be easily and cheaply repaired. 🤔 Yes it creates higher costs.
I'll take walking away and saving people's lives over metal and plastic any day.
Not everything is AI.
It could be old school *Photoshop.
*Photoshop was an existing tool before generative AI took off, and while currently Adobe Photoshop may have some AI features, the core program is something else.

Update👇
I'm glad you found out what was going on.
Good luck and Take Care
Tim, @b25crew
I'm glad everything turned out ok and repairs done for minimal cost.
It probably would have been a dent, had the plastic not been there to take the impact.
Thank you for the description and posting the detailed pictures of the repair.🤝
