With the help of @SafetyGuy I'm glad you were able to resolve the problem. I can't tell you, how much I hate when something tells me. I have to upgrade otherwise it won't work. One of the reasons I don't miss my phone being tethered/connected to my truck.

Try Slippery Mode You can damn near Coast forever with very little Regen. and you won't be fiddling around with your knob while driving. Using slippery mode will not harm your transmission

The only way the AS&S automatic stop and start can be disabled permanently is with an add-on device. Maybe FORScan. A low battery will also keep it from activating.
