Here's a photo of the interior of my wife's Escape. Closed up sitting outside in 105° temperature. Interior temperature 150° Temperature taken on the shaded parts. Vinyl covered armrest 190° Fabric seats 157° Useful for my lifestyle. 🌵

I don't smoke. I live in the desert. The AC is mandatory 9 months of the year. Windows remain open for ventilation when the truck isn't in the garage to avoid 150° interior temperatures. Yes, vent visors for me. They also shade the low winter sun glare.

Curiosity aside. The fact that it's installed on your Maverick is probably a good indication that it should stay installed.

I've always been a fan of the in-Channel window vents. Whether they're EGR, WeatherTech. I've never cared for a stick on window vents, until I saw pictures from one of our members who had trimmed Ford OEM's to fit perfectly on his Maverick. Stick-on are great, provided you do excellent surface...
