You are absolutely correct.

Red reflective tape added on top of red lens.
Yesterday, I bought reflective tape at Lowe's.
I would have preferred the yellow or white tape but decided to stay with the theme of red.
It does make a big difference VS just the red lens.

If you have the desire and a little bit of DIY skill. You can replace the lock with a keyed lock for around $10

I've always been a fan of the in-Channel window vents. Whether they're EGR, WeatherTech.
I've never cared for a stick on window vents, until I saw pictures from one of our members who had trimmed Ford OEM's to fit perfectly on his Maverick.
Stick-on are great, provided you do excellent surface...
