You are right about the price. The base XL was $21,490.00 when the truck first came out. Ford was never right to say the truck was $19.995, since at that time the shipping was $1,495.00. As of today the truck is now $24,690 as a standard XL, without taxes and dealer charges.

I never said it was just a Ford problem. It is a problem that has been going on for years. All manufacturers should have come up with a solution by now.
I used to trade about every two years, but as I got a little older, I am happy to keep a truck a lot longer. They seem to drive a whole lot better when they are paid for. I have been driving my Ranger for over nine years and will keep driving it until my Maverick arrives.
