We needed to know the percentages before we placed our orders, not after the fact. I ordered on 9/20/22. I did not know then that both an XL and a Hybrid would be a bad combination. Ford has yet to tell me if I will get a truck this year. Most of the facts about this, I only know because of...
In my opinion the XLT is not worth the $2,200 more than the XL. That is why I stayed with the XL. Plus the fact that Ford accepted my order as an XL and didn't talk about the limited capacity until December. It would have been nice to know all this at the time of ordering. I did switch from...
Yep, they did say that 3 months after I had ordered! I don't want an XLT or Lariat, so if they won't build me an XL that's their problem. They could build a lot of XL's for their fleet customers, but not for retail customers.
I feel your pain! I even switched from hybrid to ecoboost to help get a truck. Now, almost 8 months later, I am still waiting to get scheduled. Looks like it will be at least the 11 or 12 month mark before I get a truck. If I get a truck at all.
I'm 71 years old and MSRP has always been the target for me. Some years ago, you could still buy for less than MSRP. It's a free world, but I'm not going to participate in the $5,000 to $10,000 over! No wonder inflation is out of control.
They sent me two so sorry emails on Thursday night! I was told by my dealer that they have allocations for May and that I am on the top of their list, but still no scheduling. I guess allocations don't help if Ford is still having supply issues.
I received two so sorry emails last night at 9:35. Really sad getting them less than a week after my dealer said he had allocations available for May and that my order was top priority.
Got my so sorry email last night at 9:35. Dealer says they have allocations for May, but that does not seem to be helping. Shortages must be for more than just the constrained items.
