  1. Tailgate Bed Lock Question

NZ6Z-14A412-B is what I used on my 2022 XL, not sure what the revisions apply to.
  2. My Maverick didn't come with everything I wanted.

Are you talking about replacing it with a SCOUT from VOLKSWAGEN?
  3. Maverick Tremor Hybrid?

At this point no AWD Hybrid, seems in the works, but who knows.
  4. Help with P237C code?

The new one does not have the resonator at the tailpipe. (Old one on the ground for comparison)
  5. Add door keypad to 2023 XL?

I have the adhesive keypad, programmed by ford. I also have forscan, if youd like I can connect and we can compare the asbuilt codes over the phone. PM me if you’re interested.
  6. Where to buy these vinyl hood stripes?

The dealer has them too through Ford Accessories. If I remember correctly, the ones on the side of the hood come in a set with similar ones for the door bottoms, and the large hood center is available on its own.
  7. Keeping rodents out of truck

I have the ultrasonic deterrents on all four walls of the garage, and one on extension cords underneath. I keep poison in the corners for mice, and live traps outside for the chipmunks. Once the initial problem was gotten under control, I usually don’t see too many
  8. Costco / Kirkland full synthetic oil is not certified for use in any Ford

The root of the issue is that although the ford spec, and the GF-6 spec may be the same, ford doesn’t say ā€˜use GF-6’ they say ā€˜use oil that meets our WSS…. spec’. Although there is data (more so for GF-6) on both, and what we see may match, there can and most likely is more to the WSS spec than...
  9. Help with P237C code?

The wait is over! It goes in Monday for the valve/exhaust replacement.
  10. Costco / Kirkland full synthetic oil is not certified for use in any Ford

If ford has a spec, and the book says ā€˜use this oil’, why is that so hard?
  11. Costco / Kirkland full synthetic oil is not certified for use in any Ford

What you guys are failing to understand is that although WSS… meets GF-6A and API SP, they do NOT meet the WSS spec. Mobil 1 even makes TWO SEPARATE 0W-20 blends, both are GF-6A and API SP, but only the EXTENDED PERFORMANCE MOBIL 1 meets the MORE STRINGENT WSS-M2C947A1 and WSS-M2C947B1. Read...
  12. Driving continuously in "L" mode?

It’s fine, I do the same to achieve the one pedal effect. On the eCVT there is no low range. People with the fusions have ran that way forever
  13. GRANGER'S NO SALE PROVISION?

Ultimately Ford wants happy customers who will come back. If Grangers’ tactics give them happy customers and more allocations and even more happy customers, isn’t that what Ford would want? I think that’s the beauty of the allocation system, it rewards good dealers.
  14. Disconnect rear center seatbelt

To remove it, it has to be cut.
  15. My AWD rear brakes are rusty and grinding bad 49,000 highway miles

You don’t even need to remove the calipers, plastic cap has a 7mm hex behind it. Back it out, (all the way, full removal is ok) grease, and reinstall. There is a service procedure if you want to remove the caliper, I did not though.
