MY22 skewed heavily to hybrid, MY23 being hybrid-heavy is far from a stretch.

Hybrid only has 2,000lbs of towing. You don’t need brake controllers at that weight generally.

Wishful thinking! If you have a VIN, you’ll definitely get a MY22. I think they’ll just be constructing MY22 and MY23 the same week on the same line. There are no major changes or improvements between the model years, so the overall production switchover won’t take long.
