Agreed. Anything other than agreed price (MSRP or below + destination fees), plus TT&L, and at most $200 in “doc fees” is price gouging. Fight tooth and nail.
As inflation gets worse, and more loans are defaulted on, local credit unions will need to bring in new customer to offset those loses. Large creditors aren’t going to feel the pain nearly as much.
It is also always prudent to check with your local credit unions to compare rates. I’ve personally had big issues with Ford Credit in the past, and will always recommend to finance local when possible.
I think the point is many add-on items are inherently constraint items. Ford intentionally removed constraint items from trim levels and bundles in MY23 for that very reason.
I intend to use the standard red can, and one can should suffice for the interior if you follow the instructions of two light coats.
