As inflation gets worse, and more loans are defaulted on, local credit unions will need to bring in new customer to offset those loses. Large creditors aren’t going to feel the pain nearly as much.

If you get a VIN, you’re in like Flynn. Build dates will shift, but if you have a VIN, you’re good to go.

It is also always prudent to check with your local credit unions to compare rates. I’ve personally had big issues with Ford Credit in the past, and will always recommend to finance local when possible.

I think the point is many add-on items are inherently constraint items. Ford intentionally removed constraint items from trim levels and bundles in MY23 for that very reason.

Hopefully they’ve remedied this for the MY23. We shall see!

I intend to use the standard red can, and one can should suffice for the interior if you follow the instructions of two light coats. I’ve done several of my cars in the past and have had great success. They also have an auto specific option as well.

Planet Ford tried to tack on over $2100 of dealer addons and fees to an XLT EcoBoost that was a custom cancel. They even tried to tell me that their ”DNA Anti-Theft” wasn’t a removable addon, even though it is window etching that isn’t even etched on yet. This is especially ridiculous...

Any dealer with their salt would prioritize your order for you. If they don’t, I’d find a new dealer... you’d be back at square one anyway.

I had several similar issues with Ford Credit in the past when I bought my 2017 Ford Fusion Sport. I’ll never use Ford Credit again.
