I love the regen. My frugal nature hates waste and the regen fixes that. For the very few times it shows me too much a little light throttle is pretty easy.
I just wish it would default to 'Eco' mode.

You need a lower "Trust Threshold". When they say "You need this or that" think about it, say NO or run away! The rotors on my '24 look like new. I've done a lot of brake jobs and just one time I replaced the rotors on an old Saturn. Maybe I had them turned once when they were pulsing.
I heard someone say for best efficiency you should drive like there's an egg on the gas and brake pedals. Yeah, take it easy (as much as you can) and you'll get rewarded.
By "make a difference" I ment you need to be an advocate for yourself and not take any crap from the salesman. Educate yourself and if you don't take any crap they won't give you crap.
