That is awful. Has your order been verified by Ford? Your dealer should be able to help you. You should have an order code and a sales code. With that information Ford should be able to give you the status of your order.
Same old shuck and jive. Seeing new orders being scheduled while the rollovers sit. My order hit the big 400 day mark today. Who would have thought that an XL Ecoboost would be so hard to get?
Ford has proven that their definition of priority is not the same as ours. Priority only within your dealer's orders, not nationwide. The number of new orders already scheduled proves that. Just look every week at those orders from July, August, and September, that have already been...
Yes, I only added a full size spare and tow hitch. I even switched from hybrid to ecoboost way back in Dec. of 2022, when Ford said it would help get a truck. Nothing has helped so far.
Thank you for your service. I was at Tan Son Nhut Air Base in 1972. I've been waiting for 395 days and not scheduled yet. You are very lucky to get scheduled so quickly!
Sad fact is the allocation system helps you only if you order from a high volume dealer. If you are from a small rural area, like me, and want to order from a local dealer, the allocation system hurts. 395 days and counting for a base XL Ecoboost with only 2 small options. Ford doesn't tell...
Just got my dreaded 45 day email tonight. Surprise, Ford is still having supply chain issues on my XL order with full size spare and tow hitch. So much for my switching the order to Ecoboost to speed up the order. 392 days and counting! Yes, it does make me wonder how Ford can say they are...
Ford's priority system is a joke, but not really funny. FIFO is the fair way to handle orders. How can a small dealer get orders in a timely fashion, when the mega dealers get so many allocations? My conclusion is the allocation system stinks! My order is at 388 days for an XL Ecoboost, with...
Yes, I have heard that news, also. Doesn't help me one bit. Also, Ford did not explain that in their message that rollovers would have priority. I can't even get an Ecoboost and Ford encouraged us to change to Ecoboost in December of 2022.
Wow, Ford, you let the XL orders down again! So, if my order does not get scheduled in December, it will be at least 16 months or more before I receive my order from 9/20/22. What a bummer it is seeing new orders from July and August getting scheduled before the rollovers! And remember Ford...
I first ordered an XL hybrid with full size spare, trailer hitch, and rubber bed mat. Switched to Ecoboost in December of 22, after Ford said they would not make all of the hybrid orders. Guess, I should have left it as hybrid. Enjoy your truck!
There is no telling when you will get scheduled. If you ordered from a large dealer with plenty of allocations you could get scheduled before the rollover orders. I have been waiting for 380 days and still waiting. The system is not fair, but that's the way it works.
Hey Ford, if you really want to give priority to rollovers, you would go to a FIFO system! That would really give priority to the oldest orders!!!! Under your present system, you are not really giving priority in the true sense of the word!
