  1. Recall: 25S02 12V BATTERY INSPECTION

Also I noticed that while '23s are listed as being affected, they technically aren't. The notice to dealers outlines the affected build dates of the 23MY units as June 20, 2022 through August 29, 2022. 23MY retail production didn't start until mid-November so those were all manufacturer-intended...
  2. Control arm replacement after axle replacement?

Sure, that just replaces the rear bushing of the control arm while the front is integrated into the assembly. It's only a $25 part, but it's fairly sound reasoning that it's not worth the labor time of pressing in/out just one bushing as point of potential failure when for $2-300 for the control...
  3. Recall: 25S02 12V BATTERY INSPECTION

Ford switched to installing only AGMs in the EcoBoosts.
  4. New recall for 12v battery?

There's about 4 threads for it already. Only affects 22MY EcoBoosts.
  5. Broken active grille shutters on 2025 Ford Maverick

I wouldn't file an insurance claim for something so relatively inexpensive. A claim, regardless of cost, can be pretty derogatory on your profile for rate increases or risk of being outright dropped at renewal.
  6. Battery Recall

Because it's for a very specific fault of the Camel manufactured batteries having internal inter-cell connections that fail. Ford appears to have realized the EFB batteries were failing internally so quietly switched to AGMs through 22MY. Ford tried to detect the failing EFBs with the updated...
  7. FordPass question - worth fighting for points?

Ironically recalls (even free) technically count as tier/points activity.
  8. Recall: 25S02 12V BATTERY INSPECTION

The inspection criteria is literally just 'Does it have a flooded battery still? If so, replace it.'
  9. 2025 Maverick XLT Co-Pilot Pre-Collision Fail - possible recall?

You're surprised that the dealer doesn't want to deliver a vehicle with faulty safety devices or go with your suggestion of disabling said safety devices (which is probably hard-coded anyways)?
  10. Battery Recall

No. '23MY didn't start production until mid-November 2022 and this only affects up to October 2022.
  11. Recall: 25S02 12V BATTERY INSPECTION

The NHTSA has the full recall documentation. It looks like this is actually in fact another recall for the 22MY EcoBoosts with flooded cell batteries. Notice that it's an H6 battery which means it's for the EcoBoosts. Simple: the article is wrong.
  12. Front Passenger side door lock

That only works for the driver side and is due to a software fault which newer BCM firmware should address. As others mentioned, if the truck is in Deep Sleep mode due to low 12v power then only the driver's side Intelligent Access remains active.
  13. Belt Squeak

Easy diagnosis: if you have a hybrid, it's not a serpentine belt since there isn't one.
  14. 22 lariat headliner already falling apart?

Still pretty common on anything ~20+ years old, really.
  15. 2025 muffler location change?

Sounds like you're confusing the resonator (and a canister style is no longer used) with the muffler.
  16. Just had the "Performance reduced to lower temperature" on the highway - any ideas?

Same coolant. The system technically has the capability to intermix the loops (there's actually three) if needed.
  17. Deep sleep after being on charger for six days

Best practice insofar as efficiency at charging would be at the battery since it's more direct. Under hood is more convenient since the closure points are more generous.
  18. Another price increase for the maverick

Not an appearance package; Warlock was the upper trim of the RAM 1500 'Classic' that was the warmed over 10+ year old chassis versus the newer 1500s.
  19. Another price increase for the maverick

The bottom dollar price has gone up in large part because there is no longer a FWD EcoBoost option. So the prices incorporated either $1200 for Hybrid or $2220 for the EcoBoost AWD.
  20. Change Behavior of Driver Window?

The rub is that the operation between the two is completely different. On one-touch down only equipped switches the driver chip(s) to stop at end of travel are integrated into the switch itself which handles all the power delivery. On vehicles equipped with full one-touch control they have...
