Too bright for you as a driver? Or too bright for traffic coming at you? You know they're adjustable, right?
And properly designed fog lights don't increase light output to oncoming drivers, the cut off is FAR lower than the headlights.
Maybe you didn't read why I chose to have them at all...
I'm flattered, thank you! For sure Ford won't go as low as I am IF they offer an ST, but it would be a great start toward the sport truck world since they've killed every other performance truck.
Finally had an opportunity to drive at night with the fog lights. WOW! These lights make an extreme amount of difference even in clear weather. The light in front of the truck is exponentially better, but the light to the sides is unbelievable. I could see more than 100 feet out to each side...
@Robert C - the point being that you've contrubuted nothing positive to this forum. You criticize others because they do things that you wouldn't do. Nobody asks your opinion yet you feel entitled to give it. Then you try to twist it into something political that makes zero sense, using...
The wiring is EXTREMELY easy. A simple pair of pliers is all you need, no cutting or splicing. I'm not crazy about the included splices but I'll redo them with a better solution later.
It's fine, his "mod" list includes dealer installed mud flaps.
[EDIT:] I literally went looking for positive things this guy said and I found his mods list LITERALLY include a steering wheel cover and smoked window vents! 🤣
Im sure Ford will add them sooner or later, probably as a Lariat only option. My Suburban is my hauler of broken hot rods, new projects and boats. I have a '26 Sleekcraft that will be painted to match the Suburban soon.
Thank you. I was a little concerned about the yellow/HPR contrast but that...
I thought I had read that the kit was supposed to only work with low beams, but mine work with high and low. You could always build a quick relay to disable the brights... actually, that may be the red "disable" wire they indicated in the directions.
You need an 8" Phillips screwdriver. I've never measured how low I am but getting an 8" screwdriver under the front bumper isn't possible. You shouldn't have an issue with Eibach springs.
I put mine on my lift to get access, but as you can imagine alignment took several attempts on and off of...
By the looks of my truck you may imagine removing my front bumper and grill is no big deal to me. 🤷♂️
It's 16 bolts, 6 screws and 25 minutes of your day. Putting it back on is about 15 minutes. I would think cutting holes in your baby's bumper would be a more daunting task.
This is probably...
Sorry to dig up an old thread but I just got mine installed.

I received my @Diode Dynamics fog lights last weekend but just barely had time to install them.
Install was a piece of cake and took me about 4 hours. The video instructions are exceptional.
HIGHLY recommend this upgrade for all Maverick owners. Light output is fantastic. It took a little...
