I don't believe there are "more" mavericks being rear ended than any other vehicle. As stated already, rear end collisions are the most common. Combined with that fact that we are all on a Maverick Forum, that's all we see on here. Nobody here is going to post their rear end collision of another...
Hmm... Just like how the the airbag system senses weight in the passenger seat and won't deploy if there isn't enough weight. Sounds like the systems already exists, just needs to be applied to the back seat for the warning system.
Well, since both the XL and the Hybrid are constraints right now, getting rid of one of the constraints should, in theory, help. Going up in trim level to the XLT would get rid of the XL constraint.
Can you post pics of your truck with the "Bigger wheels and tires", and what size are they?
I ordered a Hybrid (not delivered yet) and wanted to put on slightly bigger tires, but didn't want to compromise MPG, hence the reason I bought a Hybrid. But since you put on bigger tires and are still...

I believe that it may for a couple reasons. One, people don't want to read through pages and pages of posts to see if someone is higher then them, so they just post. Two, people want to be part of the conversation and add their experience, which is not a bad thing and I don't mind at all. After...
The only thing I can think of here is when Ford announced they were discontinuing the VB, that made it a rare, first year thing. Since they ordered it the first year and got cancelled, I assume most of them wanted it even more because of this, but now can't and are relegated to the "normal...
Ordered an Atlas Blue Hybrid Lariat (basic, no packages or constraints), trailer hitch and 110V outlet in the cab. Will do SIBL aftermarket. I'll post pictures in 3 years when it gets here.
Really wanted the Velocity Blue, but after seeing side-by-side comparisons, the Atlas Blue is so close...
I believe what you might be referring too is the "full size" button when posting a picture. If you do NOT click it, the picture will be smaller. The person viewing the post will have to click on the picture to make it bigger. but if you click on the "full Size" button when posting, it will make...
