yes, I did get the latest software update and no, I haven't seen 'significant' drop in mpg. It's only been a week but I will let you know if I get the same mpg issues as some other people on here.
Maybe the CPU was just too dumb to do the calculation??? I don't know, man. All I can tell you is I looked at the odom and the mileage did not move and that's all matters to me. I don't care how much gas they burn doing the software update as long as it is fixed, which it did in my case.
They had to run your engine while updating the software. Can't run on the battery alone. Same thing happened to me. Miles to empty dropped but the odometer stayed the same.
I was told Ford has no authority over the dealership. They are their own independent body. You just have to find one that caters to the needs of the customers instead of the other way around.
Purchased Musology mud flaps on Amazon using 15% discount code and used my Ford points for the tail gate liner. You need a 7 mm to remove the rear flaps and a couple of clips. Muslogy provided extra clips or you could use the original ones. The front flaps only require removal of the 2 clips...
are they selling to you at MSRP? If so, just take the truck and let them take care of the private offer later if it was sent into Ford. You won't win in this case. I hope you will but chances are the dealer wants to keep your truck so don't let them.
