Allocations are by dealer. If a dealer has customer orders and they fit what ford is building that week then yes those go first. However, if a dealer has filled all their customer orders then they are getting dealer stock and those of us with orders at other dealerships are still waiting.
It is a Ford thing. It can be done at pickup, but you have to have ordered through a dealership that honors X-Plan pricing. If you have you just need to ensure that you are enrolled 90 days prior to delivery of the vehicle and you bring the generated pin number with you to do the paperwork. Like...
I was just responding to, " It seems like we may be starting to get to that point where dealership allocations are going to be the issue/delay." What I meant was we are not getting to that point we are there. Your post and mine are well intentioned. You are doing exactly what this page is meant...
"It will then be scheduled and placed in first available production week," is the standard reply for you are not scheduled yet. That was the reply I got all last model year and so far this model year as well.
We have already been there for a long time. That is why there are those of us who have waited over a year and still do not have build dates while others who just ordered back in July are already getting scheduled. It is unfair that some breeze through and jump to the front of the line, but...
You should get the private offer. It is in your name and doesn't cost the dealership anything to apply to your order. After applying this to your order it should be close to 2023 MSRP. Maybe even lower in your case since the XLT Hybrid offer was $3400.
Keep in mind that they did not do rollovers this year. They made a new order for you for a 24. Your MSRP would be based on the price at the time of the new 24 order. The private offer is an instant rebate that is provided by Ford for you agreeing to re-order a 24 since your 23 order didn't get...
You are right on. The private offer for 23 Lariats is $2500. The price protection is for within model year markups. For those of us who ordered Sep of last year if we had received it after January of this year you would have gotten price protection since the price and destination fee went up...
Wow, I contacted the chat on Thursday and was at a 15. I called Louisburg and they said they were prioritizing them by order of receipt. Considering I was pre-order from before the 23 order banks opened then only roll overs from 22 would be in front of me. Somehow I doubt that. So I went in, in...
Same with my now rolled over 24 Lariat Hybrid from Louisburg. I was just there on Saturday and apparently they didn't know that all the 23 to 24 reorders were supposed to be put in at priority code 3. They do now.
Sarah do you have a copy of the memo telling dealers to move their 23 to 24 reorders to priority code 3? My dealer still thinks they can only do 10-19.
That actually makes sense if allocations comes into play. Ford can make all the Ecoboosts they want and probably have except for the orders whose dealers are out of allocations.
