I used the "Mud and Rut" mode recently at the ranch with my FX4 and traction control was disabled.
It worked well but it did keep the transmission in a low gear a bit longer than I cared for on certain parts of the dirt road.

If your dealer lets you leave with an open safety recall I will be very interested.
Last year before I got my Maverick I was crossing my fingers that a safety recall wouldn't pop up at the last minute and screw things up. There's no guarantee until you drive off the lot.
It would be in Ford's best interest to expedite a solution for this recall since it's dealers can't sell 2024 stock units and customers can't take delivery until they do so.
It's one thing having people who own a vehicle wait for repairs but restricting sales and customers from picking up...
There's no fix yet. Dealers cannot sell any vehicles with open safety recalls.
If Ford doesn't get the software fix dealers will not be able to sell or deliver any new 2024 Mavericks.
Maybe. And hopefully the battery doesn't go bad from deep discharging it too often. You may end up drinking warm beer or eating spoiled food doing it that way.
Just buy a small power station that will keep the DC fridge running when stopped and recharge it when driving.
