  1. Truck Bed Exterior Lights

Are you referring to the cargo lights up on the third brake light?
  2. New to the club / photo dump.

Truck looks great! Loving the wheels 😎
  3. OEM Functional Side Vent Install Pics

OP, I think the vents look great and to your point, while it is minimal there is *some* measurable benefit to installing them.
  4. OEM Functional Side Vent Install Pics

The purpose of heat extraction vents are to minimize heat soak. OP states he lives in the desert too. Not totally cosmetic. Under hood temps will be lowered by a few degrees. Something like a 20 or 30 F difference would be a stretch, but could it be 5 F or so? Absolutely.
  5. Lariat 2022 30k issues

Did they say how much metal was in the rear diff fluid or show you? It is normal to see some shavings or "glitter", but if there were actual chunks then that's a different story.
  6. OEM Functional Side Vent Install Pics

Those vents should be able to lower your under-hood temps a bit! Looks nice!
  7. Does your Spray in bedliner cover the top of the bedrail under the rear window? Will tonneau cover still work?

You, not the shop guy, have hit the nail on the head. No SIBL along that top edge. You need the smooth surface for the front seal of the tonneau to seal properly.
  8. Wastegate rattle

Can't say I've heard of this issue. What caused your original turbo to grenade so early?
  9. Maverick odometer poll - how many miles have you driven? (2025 version)

I'm just about to roll up on 36000 miles. My truck is late MY22 build (September 2022). Picked it up in early November 2022. Actually paying it off completely next week! 😁 Happy to report no major issues, just the usual recalls, software updates, and regular maintenance. I did have one...
  10. I hear Ford is coming out with an extended bed Maverick

Would actually love a single cab Mav in XLT trim. It'd be perfect!
  11. Will It Rub? 2025 Mav XLT FX4 w/ Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 245/70/R17 Edition

Great looking setup! In regard to adjusting the tire size in Forscan, unless they changed something for 2025, the max you can set is 2270 mm. It should be 2230 (maybe 2240?) mm in the original coding. When I was reading about this on the forum when I did my tires, I honestly thought it was a...
  12. I hear Ford is coming out with an extended bed Maverick

Sweet! No more sled trailer, I'll just pull the snowmobiles right up into the bed 😂
  13. V-8's and V-6s from back In the day vs Stock Ecoboost and Tuned and or modified

1992 Corvette. First year of the LT-1/Gen II SBC V8. 300 hp/330 lb-ft torque out of the box. Has the ~lovely~ 🙄 Opti-spark system... okay, in theory it's actually a great system, but GM really should have planned out its placement better. IYKYK. Anyhow, I haven't lined up my Vette and EB...
  14. My July 4th Firecracker! 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat!

Great looking truck! You'll love it!
  15. where do you (if you needed to or wanted to) jack the Maverick?

Yes, that is a good idea! It's kind of like a budget Quickjack (which I would love to get a set someday). I side-jack my Corvette all the time, which I why I figured I'd give it a try on the Maverick too.
  16. Oil drain plug specs...

Yes, that is the correct thread! And good idea, that will definitely make future oil changes easier.
  17. Discount tire and Alignment

The camera only needs to be recalibrated when replacing the windshield.
  18. where do you (if you needed to or wanted to) jack the Maverick?

I follow the marked jacking points on the pinch welds. One time I did side-jack it though, where I placed the jack at the midpoint of the pinch weld. It worked, and I didn't damage the pinch. I wouldn't personally recommend this though as it is a little risky. I was just experimenting to see...
  19. Someone shot my tailights? Someone tell me I'm going crazy

Yup, what HRG said! Kind of like the plastic flash on car model kits.
