I have a couple of Mavericks ordered from Planet Ford, but was also on a call list for Gullo Ford, Conroe. They called me and offered a Lariat Hybrid Base Package that was refused by the customer who ordered it. I bought it on the spot! I thought that they would add a dealer markup of $2-5k to...
I cannot believe that they charge only $7.95 to deliver. That makes as much sense as charging $100 for the receiver option. Oh well, don't tell Ford. Good luck with the installation and thanks for sharing.
I was looking for a way to store Flash Drives in the cubby. Heard about a 6-block holder on eBay from this Forum, and bought 2 to try them out. Not a good fit in the cubby, but 2 fit good together in the lower console. https://www.ebay.com/itm/293745193393?var=592539598225
...and stop at 7-11 while you are out, pick up a six-pack of cold beer, because you are going to be pissed as hell when you get home and it's still dead!
Thanks for the useful info. I just ordered mine for $259.25. The 20% code was invalid, but FORD15 saved me $45.75. I could not find the harness or plug clip, but I will be watching this forum for tips and updates!
Ouch! That hurt! A reminder that for only a $100 option I could have a trailer hitch on my Maverick. I bought off the lot and no hitch, so I get to spend about $400 for hitch and wiring.

I am thinking about stacking flash drives in there: L 2" x W 5/8" x H 3/8". Your coin tray idea may hold them in. I will be standing by to place my order!
Yes, I was driving around Houston yesterday in my Electric Hybrid Maverick and started to pay attention to the flood gauges at highway underpasses. In my previous truck, I ignored anything under 3ft. Does anyone know what a hybrid does in high water? What is high water in a Hybrid?
I think that more old-timers are buying Mavericks than expected. The convenience of a low bed and small truck is why I traded my Tundra. As a Baby-Boomer, I listen to AM Talk Radio.
The Tissue Holder is an original idea and I thank BoxxerDad for sharing it. I think that we agree that a kleenex tissue is not the most desirable sight facing you from the dash, but it is very practical....and the Maverick is a truck. I look forward to sharing improvements on this forum, and...
I agree! W
I agree! With all of these guys trying to operate their phones and Ford Entertainment System, I am putting the Patron Saint of Travel, Saint Christopher, in the cubby with me!
