They look like the Black Appearance Package wheels repainted from a matte black to a gloss black. I have thought about doing the same thing with my BAP wheels while they were on my Shadow Black XLT. However, the matte black looks good against the Atlas Blue XL I put them on (wife's Maverick).

I thought the MX opening was "just right." Like the OP stated, the V doesn't open far enough or angle up like the MX. Thus, this modification will significantly and practically change where the rear door opens. I will receive the same parts next week, and I plan on taking before and after pictures.

It's not a dumb question at all! It doesn't serve any purpose - strictly for how it dresses up the engine bay.

The JCR Off Road engine cover comes with metal standoffs. The cover uses four standoffs: the two plastic ones you see on your engine and two metal ones that screw into holes (that look like are there for the standoffs). The metal standoffs are supplied by JCR Off Road with the cover.

Correct me if I am wrong, please This marks the first half - or six months - of the 2024 Model Year. A little over 75K Mavericks have been produced in the first half of the 2024 Model Year. Ford is on track to produce 150K USOB Retail Mavericks if this is accurate.
