I would like to see an Eddie Bauer edition to correct the awfulness of the plastic pajero Lariat.
But there was one movie tie in you coulda missed...
Hot Shots, Part Truck edition...
While sealed lead acid used for emergency lights and such might define a "cycle" as any time you use it for a handful of percent and charge it back up again, the way cycles are determined for Lithium chemistries means that used in a hybrid the way they are, doing a lot of bouncing around in the...
There are a number of gadgets in "credit card" size format, check thickness, but if you don't intend to use it for your bank cards or gas points card etc, then you could get something like an emergency seatbelt cutter or flashlight for a "hole filler" that may come in handy sometime.
Though come to think of it, I've had vehicles with 20 year old spare in the up and under, crusty as hell, but they were still solid. In fact it is the retention mechanisms that I have seen come off worst in double decade salty road service. The crank up cables rust through or the brackets fall off.
You'd think all those brands in Stellantis would make for a great synergy, but it's more like, the fuel economy of Jeep, the sheetmetal durability of Fiat, the down to earth affordability of Lancia and Alfa, the reliability of Maserati, the eye catching timeless design of Opel, the performance...
Hey, just saw this and wish it was about 3 or 4 hours closer to me. There's a Mav in Arnprior listed at 17k... high miles ofc but the pics look okay. It's pale colored, I'd wanna say white might be reflecting trees or something. Seems like it's an EB XT with 4k tow, but do on the ground fact...
I think with the steelies I'd want the larger center caps, "baby half moons" or "dog dish" or whatever the kids are calling them these days. Think those would look decent. Maybe ones that fit are hard to find though or I thought I would have seen some on someone's by now.
I got the opposite problem. Legs of someone about 6"3 but body of a typical 5'11, to get to the just short of 6'1 actual. Luckily my arms match my legs so however far away those put me I can still reach. I have come across vehicles I just can't get into with the seat racked all the way back...
Now you got me curious if one of those SPI intakes would improve a transit, give it a long air path for more low down torque air momentum ram effect.
It does in general pay to know what your torque curve looks like. Typically your BSFC map has a peak efficiency island at about 80% torque peak...
Well there's finally a use for those "credit card multitool" things, leave it on the manifold for 5 mins then pick it off with an oven glove and melt the hole where you want it.
Curious about what percent off MRSP markdowns the 24s are going out the door for? Wanna try some offers on my locals, but wanna be in the realm of "realistic".
Get out or borrow a Costco card and see if you can do better with any local dealers through https://www.costcoauto.com/ might need to go and get your own card for the deal though unless it's close fam.
But yeah, there's a few separate economic roller coaster curves superimposed on each other...
They're just trying to get you into the habit of inserting your card into the vehicle for when they introduce 1 cent per swipe pay-as-you-go for the luxury of having wipers. 😜
I'm thinking of a long story that had the result, key given to techs/dealer started car fine, key used by owner didn't... it's a pound of keys on the keyring thing vs bare key that shouldn't apply on a '25 but same thing to think about, does the key you give the dealer always work, but not the...
I mean you can probably quote the tenths of a second 0-60 difference seen in a test, but it's probably down to butt dyno, with lumpy power curve and turbo kick "feeling better" so it's down to feelings.
I am reminded of a car I hopped up a tad a decade plus back, stock 0-60 10 secs, after port...
