Yeah I don't know some folks on Amazon we're getting filters with only like 4 holes and metal shavings. Assuming those were counterfeit.

I hear good things about Wix oil filters but it seems every picture online has different inlet hole shapes and sizes such as the unit I picked up today locally. Says made in America. Are folks ok with these smaller inlet holes ? Thx -

Oil sure does break down even when the vehicle isn't used much. Just changed out 2.5 year old KTM oil well under the mileage criteria but the stuff that came out was blacker than coal - lol

Had my 1st 3 oil changes done at the dealer- Hard to prove what specific oil goes into your rig- I was told after many questions its a Motorcraft synthetic blend but that's about has far as I could get without walking into the shop on my own. Curious how many folks are going full synthetic...
