Ford's parts descriptions are complete nonsense half the time and getting worse every year. A few days ago I quoted a taillamp assy with the description "Bulb-exterior"(... the bulbs aren't even included with the lamp assembly).

I am looking to do the same. Subtle but level, I would rather not have to level the front and throw 245s on it. I'm never going to tow and the most I'll get in the bed is my crf250l so a minor 1" drop in the rear is looking ideal to me. I sell rough country lifts and level kits every day...
My favorite vehicle ever was my uncle's 94 f150 lightning. No pavement scraper but lowered level muscle car stance. Still a truck, we hauled quads and towed Thumper, our flake metallic green ski boat with a Pontiac 454 with it. But with so much available power and great handling, just plain fun...
I'm considering a 1" rear drop to level my AWD instead of a 1" lift up front. I'm hoping someone is planning the same, seems simple enough but this is both my first AWD and first new vehicle so I'm hesitant to be a guinea pig.
...One would imagine. However Ford doesn't want to hear from or address the issues we see as parts guys- and we see it all. We have an FMC forum to discuss issues amongst each other but trying to get any kind of input/response let alone a fix from anyone at Ford is like screaming into the void...
