Still shocked Ford ruined the BS except badlands trim with that dreadful 1.5 - We had a BS rental on Puerto Rico and it was fine for basic no hills commuting but why just why suffer through that powerplant on real US roads ?
My first time hearing about diverter valve options- It makes sense as you can tell the stock turbo likes to make a little boost and then blow it off to easily- I have already been in two reduced power situations due to the stock BOV/Gate which has since been replaced. -
Would this GFB unit make...
Yeah the stock airbox is lame- I upgraded to the S/B unit and can pull the filter housing pretty easily now - The 2025 models completely moved all of the intake to the other side of the engine creating a ton of room where the transmission vent is now -
I have been through 3 Motor/Craft batteries and even now after 4 days of not driving it goes into the interior lights not turning on situation when opening the door-
Yep OP states he got the Badlands with the 2.0- Back to a few years ago the sales manager at our local dealer was glad Ford didn't try any of that 1.5 - 3 cylinder nonsense with the Maverick -
So what "Covers" are we talking about for the wheel well gaps ? They are still bugging me on my 2022- That felt just turns Brown/Grey and seem impossible to get clean-
Cheers-
Yeah we had an trailer towing over/heat situation and when back from camping looks like the coolant was 15 percent underfilled- It was not obvious with the clear tanks and such -
Toyo Open Country III - Solid in snow, off-road, dirt, mud, slush, whatever you can throw at it- I might like something with a more aggressive looking sidewall though- Need tire bling -)
