Florida is a mixed bag. Those of us born and raised here make fun of everyone else and refer to it as "the home of the newly wed, the nearly dead, and the majority of the United States inbred."
For the life of me I don't know why everyone wants to move here. No reason to move to this state...
So long as they keep their politics up North along with their attitudes, all is well. When my husband and I moved to NC in 1995, he had a really hard time trying to fit in as a NY'er whereas my assimilation (as a native Floridian with ties to NC) was much easier.
Had to look up where Garner was. I lived quite a bit more west from you in Grover, NC. My mother's family is in the area, although most of the "old school" folks are gone. Miss living there, although NC is getting taken over by Northerners.
Where in the SE are you from? I was dying with laughter after I read this quote. Right on up there with the NC (and surrounding area) saying of "Some people just NEEDS killing'."
Before everyone gets too excited about what you may be able to sell your car to X company for rather than trading in, have you read the fine print from your dealership? Can't speak for everyone but I noticed my dealership is charging a $1500 fee for those without a trade-in. What kind of BS is...
Most of us are probably going to have to attend a few AA meetings after it's all said and done. I've developed a nervous twitch from waiting. Why couldn't it be something fun like Tourettes? I'd love to not have to make any excuses or apologies for randomly screaming obscenities.
THE ESTIMATED ARRIVAL DATE OF YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN UPDATED.
Dear Jennifer,
To ensure your complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your 2022 Maverick XL is delivered to Gary Yeomans Ford. Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of March 13, 2022, and March 19...
Love how your truck is sitting alone parked next to an Expedition. Told my salesman to hide mine on the back 40 of the lot so no one else breathes on it or touches mine when it finally comes in. Still waiting. Anyone know where the CSX lot is in Jacksonville? I may have to go spy on my own truck.
That's right. You gotta rebuild your credit somehow. Why not a car loan? We all gotta start (or restart) somewhere. Bought my first house (1995) with a 530 credit score, and three years later bought my first new car.
My truck is sitting in the CSX yard in Jacksonville, FL awaiting auto-transport to the dealership. Apparently Jacksonville is the distributor hub for all of FL. Mine was supposed to be delivered between March 13-19th...and here we are...April 2nd and still no truck. I've had an easier time...
Definitely the way to go. I so rarely have back seat passengers that from the back of the driver's seat to the trunk of my car looks brand new compared to driver/passenger area. The headrests can go.
