exactly! My battery checks at about 60% charge too. I found this out when I had an overnight drain problem. It was the dealer's alarm. I don't know how my battery tests good by the dealer because it died about 6 times overnight. But, anyway, it's working good since the alarm was disconnected.

yes, normally. For some strange reason my hybrid likes to run the battery at a lower voltage. I meant too low a voltage not too high.

I would question the hybrids 12 volt battery. From others and mine they seem to run low like even under 12 volts. Don't ask me why. You can easily test this with a volt meter with your bass cranked up. Ask @GPSMan about it too. I'm curious what he thinks. If you suspect the ground, you could run...

this is what mine says. also it shows it's up to date. I'm guessing the hardware is different on the OP's being it's a 22 so the software would be different.

I had the same problem and it was a dealer added alarm system causing a draw. It took the dealer 3 days to find the problem.

I also have larger tires, 245/60/18, I don't run them at 40 psi either, more around 34. The weather has been close to 100 every day, AC always on and I'm sure the battery needs to run lower to keep itself cool. Anyway, ya, all these little things add up. I hoping for a little better mpg now...

We all know it's 6 months, just the moron dealership doesn't. They just need a little explaining is all. Take the contract in and show it to and walk through it with the service manager, all will be well.

there is a heat exchanger on the tailpipe. I can't image what else it would be used for. (if the "think" in your statement meant you were not sure)
