On my 23 it was a dealer add on alarm. It could kill the battery overnight. Once it was disconnected all has been well.

They tried to get me for $600 for a crap add on alarm. I didn't pay it and they didn't remove it. It caused a draw that would kill my battery. They disconnected it and now all is well.

I suspect a "regular" cap would have done the same thing. They are designed to vent if needed. When there is no air in the tank from overfilling there is no room for expansion.

I think it's the battery. The truck is giving it 15 volts and it won't take it. Bad batteries won't take a charge.

It's probably just broken. Mine heats up very quick. Just push the button to get 3 little lights. Sounds like dealer time. I guess you could look under the seat and make sure it's plugged in. But if it wasn't I bet you would get an airbag warning light.

Oh yes, I agree. I put a new water pump on my last truck myself just to avoid the dealer. Cost me about $100 but I had it done in an hour and didn't have to go through all their crap. Well worth it to me.

Man that sucks. I seriously doubt any dealer would put on any part that they didn't sell you. Being safe to drive depends all upon how bad it vibrates in my opinion. So that's a tough call.

on mine when the truck is off it wont honk. I'm sure it does this to remind you to shut it off. I like this. I was commenting on those that don't want it to honk when they get out with it running to get the mail or whatever, and the key is in their pocket.
