If you're looking for trailers the hybrid can tow...
We just got a little 8x5 trailer that weighs about 1k lbs I'll tow with my hybrid. It's from New Wave (out of business but you can get them used).
I really like the Sunray 109, too.

But it wouldn't fit...
I'm not sure why, but this just looks cool to me. Like it makes the whole rig look beefier?
Also, this is a great setup for camping (one of my big use cases for the Mav). We regularly pack every inch of the bed and put a few things in the cab (doggo gets most of the back seat). I have to get...
Bumper to bumper. Got it through Long MacArthur but other dealerships like Granger are selling full-coverage extended warranties for $50 or $100 over cost. It doesn't add much to the overall price.
Agreed. There really isn't an apples-to-apples comparison to another truck on the market, yet.
But your point is that the Maverick is a lower-quality build than other trucks (probably true), and therefore not worth purchasing for the long term.
My point is that most other trucks on the market...
Maybe. But you can get 2 Mavericks (with a 10yr/100k mile warrenty) for the price of an average F150 and spend $10k less in fuel over 10 years. So unless you need to tow big things, you'll almost always come out way ahead financially with a Maverick.
I'm not super handy. My low-tech solution was scavenging some felt from my wife's craft kit and stapling it to the ends of a 2x6. Stopped the rattling and made it easy to lift out.
Sorry if this is a dunce question, but are these trucks that were newly scheduled this month? Meaning, 123 people who ordered a Maverick from LM got scheduled in October?
Nearly 12k miles in 14 months and couldn't be happier. It's my first truck and first hybrid.
I still geek out about loading it up with camping/biking/kayaking gear or hauling the odd load of rocks or appliance.
Honestly, there's no bad answer unless you need to tow more than 2k lbs (EB + 4k), need real-ish off road capavility (EB + AWD, Tremor), need to flat tow (hybrid).
The FWD version of each is similar enough (30 MPH vs 40 MPH which is amazing for a truck either way).
I have a hybrid XLT and find...
I think that's a great way to explain it.
One question that's stuck with me is, couldn't Ford limit a dealerships ability to order?
If Ford knows my dealership is only getting 100 trucks in 2024, why not cut me off at, say, 110 orders (+10% for fudge factor)?
If assembly lines open up, then...
