Yes the 2,444lbs is for passengers, fuel and trailer weight. I'm guessing Ford factors in passenger/fuel weight of 444lbs.

I know Ford says the Tremor's towing capacity is 2,000lbs but is it really? I have Ford's very own 2024 Ford RV & Trailer Towing Guide. In it is says the Maverick Tremor has a Gross Combined Weight Rating of 6,175ibs. The Tremor has a Kerb Weight of 3,731ilbs. Subtracting this from 6,175lbs...
