Ok...but you ordered a car that at the time was not even being produced, it's wildly popular, and there are still a crap ton of supply issues.
Waiting sucks. Especially when you see people in front of you getting theirs.
Pretty sure the old man doesn't know wtf he's talking about. OP post is one GD'd long run on sentence post. If grammar is difficult, I wouldn't trust him with numbers.
Multiple averages tank to tank is all that matters.
But to keep my mpg high, I have my maverick towed on a flatbed to flagstaff from phoenix when I visit my brother. That way I can just record the downhill. That or driving like a reasonable person. 65mph, staying in regen, and keep things...
I don't. I don't have a need. Nor want.
I just took a 1300-1500lb payload to the dump. The dump had a very thick, fine silt, where I was to dump my dirt and masonry. People overestimate their need or want for AWD
Yep if it comes off at 1 minute or 24 hours, it's installation error.
Once it's on, it's definitely on. You aren't taking it off without a heat gun and some goo gone.
Seems to be 5lbs of nothing needed. Maybe something needed for the awd drivetrain. Thinking about unbolting it because I can’t think of why it’s there.
Located driver side, rear
The difference in 65-75mph is huge. An approximate 33% increase in aerodynamic drag.
Not sure what EPA tests at. But every vehicle I've owned I've been able to do about 10-20% better then then EPA estimates. I drive 65mph on highways and coast a lot.
If you are worried, get paint protection film. Just a clear vinyl wrap. Pretty easy to install yourself if you have patience, a heat gun, spray bottom, cutting utensil, and plastic scraper. Or generally there are die cut ones out there as well. I know I just added some weathertech precut...
Hybrids do not have an axle in the back as mentioned. There are two hubs with hub bearings that are packed with grease. At least that's what it looked like when under the car.
So you might want to talk to your service tech again.
When I bought mine, my dealer said they like to sell retail orders if they OG buyer doesn't wan't it. They mark it up a little, but he said it's also a hassle as they have to explain to ford in documentation that the order was abandoned and the buyer didn't want it.
Yes they would. But you had to stomp your feet, have a tantrum and said not unless it's 100% on my terms.
The finance the dealer offered was like a difference of $3/month for mine. Not enough to even consider refinancing later.
You reap what you sow dude. You were not flexible, neither were...
