Lol, yeah ForScan let me down on this one, there is an option, but it didn't work for me... Though it did allow you to change the noise to come from the HUD instead of the speakers, perhaps you can find the speaker in the HUD and clip that
Warning, it can be a destructive process, if you do attempt this, it is recommended to attempt on the rear seats first because they're harder to remove but easier to replace. So here it is:
Step 1: Open the seatbelt buckle
- The seatbelt is held together by sliding into place at the top of the...
It's all personal preference, the bed liner just is a protectant layer for your bed to mitigate dents and scratches.
My uncle runs his own construction/contracting company, doesn't bother with bed liners, so his $80,000 Chevy beds look scratched and dented to hell, but hey it's for work so who...
Why is it that any post about the seat belt minder breaks down into people arguing about seatbelts? one is not representative of the other. Anyways, I removed the seatbelt pop-up reminder/beep permanently, but felt it useless to post because the thread is just diluted with people debating
Wait... What??? Do you happen to have a link or write up? I have forscan but could never find a solution to disabling the seatbelt ping, screen, or reminders
I'd remove the splash guards regardless, the OEM ones scratch through the paint rather quickly, someone in this forum got Ford to pay for a whole new paint job because of it
It does, but I don't wanna have to turn the car off every time someone gets out, I have a wireless android auto adapter and it's about a 30 second resync everytime the car turns on. Super 1st world problem, but just find it annoying that the whole thing coulda been avoided if there was just a...
After posting, I figure I'd try my hand at solving the issue, and I found a solution, it ain't pretty but it works. What you do is you have to open the buckle itself, there's a metal tab attached to the plunger that goes down when the seatbelt is buckled. You drill out the pin to this tab and...
As the post says, I signed up for Uber to get a little bit of cash before I head internationally in a few weeks. Anyways the biggest annoyance with it, is the seatbelt reminders, if someone buckles their seatbelt, the car thinks there's someone there, makes sense. However when they unbuckle and...
As the post states, I had to hop a center median to go around construction, I heard a scrape and on inspection later the only damage was to this black metal tube that sticks out on the undercarriage. What is it? I'm assuming its just a support brace?
Mines gonna be a few months while I save, but I looked at the 23Zero RTT but with my low profile bars I didn't want it sticking out past the bed of the truck. But I imagine you'll just go over the roof with your rack, can't wait to see yours!
I think I'm sold on the Skycamp 3.0 Mini, should only stick up a few inches over the roofline, and a hard shell seems to be better generally then a soft.
Stumbled upon this forum today, decided to check my factory installed mud flaps, and sure enough, already scratched down, I picked it up 3 months ago and still has less then 2,000 miles on it, sigh... I trimmed the rears down and pulled the fronts out, will probably install 3m tape, may also...
I've been looking for fender flares more for the black aesthetic then the usability $670 from ford is Ridiculous, and no other good alternatives... Except these look fantastic! Will definitely be following for release, also heard some rumblings of fog lights in the works too ;)
I've seen people post prices from $45-65 from different dealers. If you go to your local dealer, they can get you a price, I just ordered a 2nd one for my XLT from Amazon though last week, it was $62
Edit:
Found a link on this forum for the cubby for < $40...
Can confirm, fuse 11 does the trick. It doesn't throw any errors... Lets just say my insurance company thinks my mav's been parked untouched for a few weeks now...
Just wanted to post about some things I've added to my Mav:
- Truxedo Sentry CT
- Truxedo Elevate Rails
- TMS Universal Crossbars (Either needs more bolts for the Elevate Rails, or have to use the ones for the tiedowns)
- Nilight in bed lighting
The plan is to get a rooftop tent, probably the...
