I have had four(4) Covercraft Dashmats, three of four fit well. The last one was a mediocre fit and finish, and their prices have increased. So , I bought a blue mat on Amazon. It was $43, but fit poorly and the blue matched neither interior nor exterior blue. No cutouts for the speakers and...
I am a boomer. I don't really need a truck, and certainly not a full bed or a 200 or 300 series. I will use the bed, as some of the things I will haul weren't the best to put in the rear of a Honda Passport.
Mostly, it is fun to drive, and fun to accessorize!
I have the same cover, and only took them to 4#. That was 1400 miles ago, and no problem. I too, think there would be considerable distortion caused to torque them that high.
Yes, I like to keep my vehicles clean and detailed. I like to be able to say my wife never drives a filthy vehicle. I keep the paint, the plastics, the cloth and the leather clean. Once you do the initial deep prep, clean and detailing, it takes about 30-45 minutes to keep it going. I like the...
I have to admit, if I had to wait the two months to infinity for delivery my salesman told me when I considered ordering, I would have walked away. I had a low mileage Honda Passport in outstanding condition, so did not need a vehicle. I just wanted a change. Luckily I was willing to take...
Most, if not all, modern key fobs are constantly searching for their vehicle. If the secondary is stored fairly distant from the vehicle it may actually kill a battery quicker than the primary. They do not send out a trackable signal, of which, I am aware.
I think the off-the-line response is very good. I enter a highway from a county road ,and It gets me in the mix well without slowing approaching drivers. Otherwise, I drive fairly reserved.
No one should exceed the 2K limit, IMO. I certainly would not put in print it is okay. That is asking to be involved in a lawsuit. I doubt anyone's insurance would payout for an accident, if they discovered one had exceeded the weight limit.
I did not laugh. I shook my head. EV's are all but dead. However, since the Maverick's introduction, gasoline and material prices are higher. That includes transport costs. And, yes, they are getting "what the market will bear". If small truck buyers were not waiting in line for their...
No regrets! IAH, if I could have fit a Ridgeline in my garage, and they were more reasonably priced, I would have bought one. I am pleased with my hybrid. I won't be driving it in Ohio winter conditions, as i winter in Florida, and it is staying north. With 1289 miles on it I am averaging...
When I decided to look for one, and decided on the XLT Hybrid in Red Pepper, my dealer had none. They did have the blue one in the picture. The mother of my salesman had ordered it, and decided not to take it. I drove it. I liked it, I bought it. I have made it my own with a few additions...
I bought mine late May with 31 miles on it, and a full tank of gas. I reset everything, and at almost 1000 miles I am averaging 41.3. I am elated with that. My driving has included 25 mph to 74 mph. Most mileage is at 59 with cruise set. I don't accelerate hard very often.
I use a car wash concentrate with wax ' I like Turtle Wax Ice and Meguiers Gold. I rinse well, then blow off the water with my garden 20v unit. Then I use clean cotton or microfiber towels to dry. I like the new spray wax/polymer hybrids. Easy to apply, and they last at least six weeks. I...
Florida does not have small claims courts. The pols thought there would ne way too many filings, and they are right!
In Florida: Handymen aren't. Skilled tradesmen aren't. It is definitely consumer beware!
