    Interesting idea, but I looked at the site and my wallet fainted. Lots of videos on YouTube of people building DIY bed drawers/storage, which IMHO fits the Maverick theme.

    Dealer in town here wants $33k (after $3k “discount”) for a used vanilla XL. Craziness that someone is willing to pay the markups otherwise they wouldn’t be so high.

    Wow, are they really so short on parts they can’t keep up with a decades old technology? I haven’t had to unlock a car with a key since the 90s. Seems like manufacturing a second key fob without the buttons would be as much of a constraint?

    Well, pulled the trigger and asked the dealer to change my Maverick order to Atlas Blue. The wife says "at least it will be easier to find in a parking lot than the generic grey" I had before.

    I plan on towing a teardrop or other small trailer with the Mav when it eventually is built. I have no experience towing so my thinking was that the blind spot monitor and other features could help with the learning curve. Plus as others posted you can usually get an insurance discount for them...
