Did Ford do away with the ECO drive mode on the 2023 Maverick Ecoboost ? I have Normal, Tow Haul, Slippery, Mud Ruts and Sand but no ECO mode. I called the local Ford service dept and the guy said he honestly didn't know. Geez.

OK keep the key and store it inside the fob like Nissan did on my Altima. My Maverick has a spring loaded key which doesn't seem to be a good idea if/when that spring breaks. Why do I feel that will eventually happen ?

Sorry, I guess I should have made my point a bit clearer. The point I was trying to get across was a key start in vehicles nowadays is antiquated. They all should be push button start now as the technology came out over 15 years ago.

Guess you haven't been to Chicago where vehicles are being stolen all the time. Thieves like to drive them through storefronts for smash & grabs, especially jewery stores.
