You need heated seals in Alabama ? I guess there are a few times where they would come in handy as cold temps sometimes push that far south. They are great in the midwest and if you have back problems the seat back heats up really nice and feels pretty good. How do you feel about your 3yr 36K...
I hear so much about the benefits of a hybrid in this forum that I think I have become brain washed.
So I think I would go for a Lariat hybrid in HOT PPR with the AWD, 4K tow, FX4 and definately heated seats.

My 2023 Eco XLT was also a retirement present to myself. The longest trip I have taken so far was Chicago to Tallahassee FL. Ran great and still does. I only have 24K miles on it however, and the factory warranty expires in another 6 months. I am on the fence about getting the Ford ext warranty...
Very nice ride. And the warranty clock starts all over again. The push button start is a nice feature that was only available in the Lariat in 2023 when I bought my XLT. Let the good times roll again.

One reason to get a hard rollup is security. If you have anything of value in the back, you dont want the local hoods to use a utility knife to slice up a soft cover and rip you off. The BAK roll up is pretty secure but like anything else, if a crook wants to break in they will. It just depends...
