I swapped a AOD for a manual on a 92 foxbody, and I think that would be a lot easier than anything today. Added the AL9 computer and some minor wiring changes, poof it was done (added the shifter hump as well). I figured it would be quite an undertaking for these Modern chariots.

Could you go with a manual tranny? How could you let all of the computers know that it is an manual Tranny?

My Mav's plug in the bed would not run a coffee pot, how did yours run a 1/2 Hp pump? (3.3 amps)

Hmm, how difficult was it to take the inner panel off and more importantly back on? I took my panel off and changed the speaker and matted want I could from the speaker hole but was hesitant to get the next layer off.
